Ryan June is a strategic legal advisor with complex commercial litigation and investigations experience at an Am Law 50 firm, as well as dispute resolution, intellectual property, and general counseling experience at a major media and higher education nonprofit. Ryan has a proven record of delivering high quality, yet practical and client-centered solutions to complex legal problems.

Ryan’s private practice experience started at the international law firm Winston & Strawn LLP. There, he represented Fortune 500 and other companies in the manufacturing, medical technology, banking, agriculture, and insurance sectors in litigation and other dispute resolution proceedings, including class action, multibillion-dollar false advertising and Lanham Act, trademark, contract, fraud, FINRA, and negligence disputes. Ryan’s practice also centered on investigations, most notably a two-year-long data security and privacy investigation for a Fortune 50 client in which Ryan participated in 40+ witness interviews and co-led a team of 10+ associates drafting an 800-page investigation report.

Following his time at Winston, Ryan pursued a unique opportunity to serve as Assistant General Counsel for a major media and higher education nonprofit. There, he built on his dispute resolution experience and diversified his practice, gaining general counseling and transactional experience, including in the areas of intellectual property, privacy and data security, and employment. Notably, Ryan built and managed the brand enforcement and expansion strategy and provided strategic counsel in domestic and international trademark, copyright, and unfair competition matters related to a New York Times bestselling book and internationally-recognized brand.

Drawing on this experience, Ryan delivers creative, practical counsel and a strong track record of turning complex legal challenges into strategic business opportunities for his clients at C+H.

Ryan received his Juris Doctorate, graduating first in his class, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where he served as Managing Editor of the school’s flagship law journal. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science and Business/Economics from Wheaton College.

On a personal note, Ryan, his wife Heather, and their three children live in Wheaton, Illinois and are active in their church and local community. Ryan is Vice-Chair of the Deacon Board at College Church in Wheaton, has served in leadership for various community benefit organizations, and is a Milton Township precinct committeeman.
